We also asked some of our Digital Documenters why they wanted to become involved…..
I have had no training or done any courses in media, but I know it is where my talents and passions lie. I also live in one of the five Olympic boroughs and remember being shown the Olympic sight when I was much younger by my uncle and was so excited that my country would be hosting such a grand global event and the chance to be part of something that documents something that will directly benefit my community and the country I live in. I also want to meet other young people may age and extend my circle of friends who have a passion for journalism and media.

It would be another great opportunity to gain more knowledge of working in the toughest industry ever, being given the chance to work on some amazing people is a great chance to get my name noticed in the industry.
Tristan Mayer 19, Manchester team
I have great interest in some of the themes the project deals with. I am also passionate about media and the arts. I’m an individual who enjoys learning from practical experience. I believe that working on this project will give me the opportunity to learn and develop new skills with the aid of industry professionals, as well as demonstrate my own skills.
