Important Changes to Studio and Pilot Grant

First Light has made some changes to its funding schemes, the aim of these changes is to try and remove some of barriers of applying, that organisations have fed back to us in Final Reports and at Roadshows.

Find a summary of these changes below;

Pilot

  • Organisations have to bring 20% of their total project costs as match funding to be eligible to apply.
  • We used to say that 10% had to be in cash and the remainder made up of cash and/or in-kind.
  • We have removed the cash requirement so applicants can now apply with just in-kind match funding.

Studio

  • Similar changes with this scheme but we’ve halved it.
  • Match funding requirement was 40% of total project cost, with a 20% cash minimum.
  • Match funding requirement is now 20%, with a 10% cash minimum.

Script Grants remain the same.
