First Light has recruited young people aged between 18 and 25 in Manchester, Birmingham, London and Exeter who are passionate about art, culture, health, sport, environment and education.

First Light have teamed up with mygames to offer young people a unique opportunity to promote and celebrate the values of the 2012 Olympic Games whilst receiving fantastic training from professionals in filmmaking, citizen journalism, interviewing, blogging and campaigning. They will receive training in how to use equipment such as digital voice recorders, camcorders, laptops and editing software to make short documentaries that capture the Olympic projects that are happening across the country.

Through v funding, First Light‘s mygames project – Digital Documenters – will provide young people interested in culture with opportunities to play their part in creating a positive legacy from the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
