Enter the Pitch
30 July 2013
The Pitch is an opportunity to pitch your short film idea and win a budget of £25,000, for production support, and advice from top industry professionals.
The unique challenge of The Pitch is to come up with a contemporary film drawing upon stories from the Bible for your inspiration.
The competition features a wide range of prizes. The top 10 finalists will spend the day at Pinewood, pitching their film ideas to the panel in the Boardroom of Pinewood studios and meet and have lunch with the judges.
The winner will meet with industry professionals, including script writers, producers, directors, actors, camera operators or directors of photography and post-production experts in order to turn your pitch into a short film. The production and technical support you will receive has an estimated value in excess of £25,000.
Once the short film is made, they’ll fly you and a friend or family member to Hollywood and introduce you to film industry professionals such as producer Ralph Winter (X-Men, Fantastic Four) who’ll watch your film and give you hints and tips on taking your skills to the next level.
The Pitch 2013 is now open for registration. Closing date 30 September.
