Two parallel worlds unwittingly collide when a young lad in Liverpool decides he needs a replacement pair of trainers. Illustrating the disposable culture of the west, his mum throws his repairable trainers away and replaces them with a brand new pair. The film contrasts the sadly modern day issue of child slavery in the developing world against the experience of a western child attending regular school.
