Pilot Grant

• Funding for one short film of up to three minutes in duration
• Maximum grant – £5,000
• 20% match funding requirement
• We will be accepting 80 applications for Pilot and Studio grants combined

Studio Grant

• Funding for between two and four films of up to 3 minutes in duration
• Maximum grant – £30,000
• 20% match funding requirement
• Track record of filmmaking with young people necessary
• We will be accepting 80 applications for Pilot and Studio grants combined

90 Second Comedy Shorts

First Light has recently become a YouTube partner and to celebrate, we are launching a ‘90 Second Comedy Shorts’ round. For inspiration, click here.

• Funding for between three and six short comedy genre films each up to 90 Seconds in duration
• Maximum Grant – £20,000
• 20% match funding requirement
• Track record of filmmaking with young people necessary
• We will be accepting 50 applications for 90 Second Comedy Shorts grants
