Project Manager – Second Light

Yen manages Second Light which is a new talent development training scheme for young people. Through funding from the UK Film Council and Skillset, as part of A Bigger Future, the training and education strategy for the UK film industry, it is supporting young filmmakers from across the UK.

Devised as a pilot production-based talent development scheme, it is providing 30 young trainees with supported opportunities to move into the film industry. With the backing of industry partners including The Pinewood Studios Group and BAFTA, Second Light is providing these young filmmakers bespoke training, work placements and mentor support over a sustained period of 18 months.

Yen previously worked for Arts & Business and was Deputy Director of the Birmingham Film & TV Festival.
