Chief Executive

Leigh is responsible for the strategic management of First Light. After queuing round the block to see Star Wars as a ten-year-old, Leigh fell in love with film and had her first chance to make one when she production managed a short film in 2005. Leigh’s career in the creative industries has included outreach for one of the UK’s largest comedy festivals, community tour management for the Bristol Old Vic theatre and arts development for a local authority in Leicestershire. Leigh joined First Light in 2001 and has previously been a project manager, finance manager and chief operating officer before becoming CEO in 2008.
